As stated in the association's Charter, membership in the Pioneers of Stealth is limited to all government and industry employees who were involved in the planning and execution of the low observable programs managed under the then Aeronautical Systems Division’s Special Projects Office (subsequently ASD/XRJ) prior to December 17, 1993, the date of the first B-2 bomber delivery to Whiteman AFB, MO, on the 90th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight.
The low observables programs referenced above are specifically Have Blue, Senior Trend (F-117), Tacit Blue, and Senior Cejay (B-2). An applicant will be considered to be qualified if he/she:
- Executed a security Program Access Briefing statement for one or more of the above programs prior to December 17, 1993; and
- Worked on one or more of the above programs having made a substantive contribution to the planning and execution of the program(s); and
- Have one (or more) current POS Member(s) to attest to the applicant's character and qualifications.
Membership dues are:
$45 for 2 years
POS Membership Process:
- Complete and submit the online membership application
- Submit dues via check
- After dues are received and application is approved, you'll receive a "Welcome to POS" email
- Username & password for the POS website "Members Only" area will be communicated to you
